The field of battle has become clogged with the debris of the dead and dying.

Bones and the rest of the strike team are still alive, though Doc Destiny has taken some heavy fire. Their missile strikes have, unfortunately, proven ineffective against the capital ships of the native force. Missiles just aren't packing the same concentrated firepower as the lasers of the Integrity.

A request for new orders has been sent in, but everyone aboard the Integrity are perhaps too busy to hear it. The wave of personal fighters launched at the Integrity have been dodging the lasers of the battered ship, though four of the native personal fighters have been reduced to scrap metal. Still though, the Integrity is definitely taking a beating despite the best efforts of Genius and Shepard. In the midst of the activity on the bridge, the Invid in Yellow slipped out, though neither Shepard or Genius saw him leave.

Stone and Ares are closing in on where they expected the boarders to be, but contact has not yet occurred.

"Screw it."

Genius starts feeding the turrets FoF data and turns them on auto; even if they start targeting at random, there's more of their stuff out there than ours. He then jacks into the cameras and uses internal turrets to cover for the men inside.

Ares taps his comm as he closes to the initially reported sighting area

"Bridge, this is Ares. Do you have any sign of the boarders or reports out of the ordinary? Keeping within context of being assaulted from outside and within, of course."

Flicking his rifle's safety to off Ares keeps his finger straight and off the trigger to ensure no accidents with friendlies...though he keeps his options open regarding the Invid who left the door open

Stone and Ares meet up, and manage not to shoot each other, moments before a pack of beasts comes your way. Though some might not have been as heavily armored, the venting of the atmosphere probably finished them off. Instead what you get are five heavily armored eight foot tall things, each wielding nasty looking weapons. And there's a sixth man, that gives you your first good look at the native species. He's about seven feet tall, as wide as a lineman, covered in drab olive skin. A frog man for certain, he's walking around without a hint of armor on, and his skin seems to be glowing.

Bones, Starscream, Stokes, and Doc Destiny are all in a bit of a hellhole, between dealing with the last of the personal fighters that were near them (instead of the ones that were hitting the Integrity), the capital ships themselves, and the FoF fire from the Integrity. Assaults in fighter mode are keeping you all alive, but you're still not able to penetrate the forcefields of the capital ships. Perhaps a transformation is in order?

(Not sure if Genius and Shepard are actually leaving the bridge or not?)

The FoF is paying dividends, however, with over half of the personal fighters that were attacking the Integrity destroyed.
