Kalen checks the charge feeds on his blasters with an almost eerie calm, though underneath the calm exterior his thoughts race to battle groupings, ship choke points, and other ingrained boarding repelling training.

Finally, with a tug on one of his well worn combat gauntlets,
"About time, I was wondering when the Captain was going to give the word to stop being target practice and to actually show these Bot-loving armchair generals we have teeth."

Moving down the corridor towards the nearest breach point

"Now where did he go? Always wandering off when I need him most." he wonders out loud.

Coming across the two Mandalorians proved to be quite the boon for the young Padawan but he immediately noticed that one was missing causing his brow to furrow in aggravation when the lights flickered. He quickly deduced it was obvious there wasn't going to be an escape from this unless they were to make one.

"I am glad to see you are both safe but where is your other companion? Master Daemos sends word that we must gather and if he is not with you we must find him quickly. It would appear our ship is about to see a rather large infestation of droids in short order."

Hearing the alarms and the sudden announcement across the ship only hammered the sudden lack of time into his head and his hand went instinctively to his lightsaber

"It would appear our hand has been forced. Crais *turning to the blue and gold highlighted soldier* we need to find him before the droids do."

Never missing a stride, Kalen shouts back to the others

"If I know him*, he's already bagged a few droids and is wondering the same about us."

*it should be noted that I don't in fact know him, as me and Marrow have shared very little about our characters as of yet Razz

((To give Marrow time to jump into the game, his character was "On Shift", when the action started. So he's currently somwhere else on the ship, at the moment. So long as he wasn't/isn't blasted by droids, he'll be fairly easy to collect a little later...))

((And Crais, being the most technically minded of the group, you realize with the Main Reactor off-line, Auxillary Power is the only thing keeping you alive. And Auxillary Power is also on Deck Four, just aft of the Droid Bays. If the Clankers cut/destroy that...))

Crais looks down at the Jedi, "The power has been cut, and it appears they are going after the auxiliary power. This will shut down all life support on this ship. I'd recommend getting a vac suit, or some breathing apparatus Tas." Pointing toward the aft of the ship, "We will need to get to deck four, through a service access, if we are going to keep the auxiliary power online. More than likely we'll probably need to blow the ship up, and get as many of its crew down to the planet." With that said, Crais hefts up his Blaster Rifle and starts to run down the hall towards a service access.

Kalen moves to the nearest Turbolift shaft, and in a feat of impressive strength, manages to pry the emergency locked doors apart. Unfortunately, the car for this shaft is stuck on this level, though the two crew techs look happy to have been freed from their prison, rushing past the frusterated Kalen.

(There still is 2 shafts next to you. Or you could blast thru the floorboards.)

(Crais, there's actually two access shafts near you, put in opposite directions on the ship. You can reach the shaft leading down from the Gunnery Well this round, but it's towards the fore of the ship. There's an access shaft in Engineering, but you have to gain access to Deck 3 Engineering, to go down.)

Tas looks into the turbolift then at the other doors

"We have no time. Every moment we waste is more time for their droids to overwhelm us and cut off life support."

Tas ignites his lightsaber and steps into the turbolift, stabbing it into the floor and begins to cut a hole into it that would accommodate someone even in the bulky armor of a Clone Trooper

"The simplest way is not always the correct way, but we do not have the luxury of time. Troopers, prepare for descent and close combat."

The metal floorboard of the lift provides little resistance to the young Jedi's blade, the edges glowing a molten orange-red as the cleanly cut circle is completed. The cut portion drops quickly, clanging to a final stop 2 levels below (past Deck 4 and Bottom Cargo Hold). Dimly, a metal handrail can be seen on the wall, leading further down...

"You Jedi and your swords..." almost with a hint of...jealousy, maybe?

afterwhich, Kalen peeks through the hole, looking for a good place on the undercarriage of the Turbolift or perhaps the wall to tie off on. Once located he spools a decks worth of cable out, attaches anchor and drops into the black abyss of the lift shaft.

Once at the door to deck 4, he pauses at the turbolifts doors to hear for sounds of combat, and then waits for the Jedi to join him before once again forcing the doors.

Due to the sealed nature of the Turboshaft, Kalen doesn't hear much till he puts his helmet to the door, where the sound amplification system of his armor picks up the sharp sound of heavy blaster fire. He can hear the retort of not only the weapons of his shipmates, but also the quick statacco of Super Battle Droid blasterfire...

Crais hooks up his cable and slides down his own rope. "Open her up, and I'll toss in a couple of Droid Popper's, and take the rest out." he pats his rifle.

Tas drops down the hole following Crais, using his Jedi robe as a cushion between his hand and the cable to avoid losing flesh and hesitates to ignite his saber once more until the others follow.

"Now, let me see where our comrades are. Everyone else, come down and prepare for battle"

Tas closes his eyes and reaches out with the Force to try and find which direction from the turbolift shaft the ship's soldiers and guards are on (Use the Force skill) figuring that the droids haven't closed to hand-to-hand range yet

As you touch into the Force, a hundred cascading flickers of light in the darkness dance at the edges of your senses. The acrid taste of their fear, leaves a bitter aftertaste in your mouth, though determination runs strong at the moment as well. You have to center yourself, as you feel a couple of the bright lights suddenly flare, then disappear into nothingness.

As you get a better feel for the ebb and flow, you realize one door in the shaft leads directly into the swarming invaders, while the other provides you the cover of the turbolift shaft when exiting...

You also sense one of the flickers, far brighter than the others, has just rapidly descended from further up, nearer to the fore of the ship.

Tas waits until the other trooper has made his descent before reigniting the lightsaber, immediately cutting into the door that will allow his team cover

"Listen up, deploy as you were trained. Enemy contact will be imminent so blasters at the ready. Provide covering fire for each other while advancing. If we are lucky we will be able to catch the droids in a crossfire with the other ship defenders which will divide their fire in half."

He disengages the saber as the final cut is made, motioning to the closest trooper to kick it down

"May the force be with us."

As Kalen knocks out the cut door, the team moves into the corridor, protected from their antagonists by the bulk of the turboshaft itself. A streaming trail of bright red blaster fire streaks down the cross-corridor to their left, with only a few interminent shots being returned back down. The still forms of two Mandalorians can be seen across the corridor, and the blast marks of a large explosion. The sounds of metal feet on metal deck approaching can be heard by all, and Tas realizes they're very close, likely to enter the cross-section of the two corridors in a few scant seconds...

(As you have the benefit of not being heard, you actually have a Surprise action, in addition to your normal round)
