Question....
Are we running on the old or new canon? As in the Original Trilogy's "anyone can turn on a lightsaber" or the modified official statement that now says "only someone who can feel the Force can turn one on....oh and Han Solo is a minor Force wielder, he just doesn't know it and every single Jedi in the galaxy missed that." |

With a standard lightsaber, anyone can turn it on, and even use it (those without the Weapon Proficiency are at -5 to hit, IIRC).
Darth Vader's lightsaber had an internal switch, which had to be TK'd on (and kept others from being able to turn it on or off, since they didn't know where the toggle was).
Deflecting blaster bolts are a function of the Jedi class, though. |

Pater familias. Father of the Family. Ulysses was rather well-read for his day. |

Pater
Vater
Vader
Man, I remember when Vader was a name of terror and power. Finding out his Sith name was really just Darth Dad was just another violation of my childhood. |

Cyber wanted to know about Non-Lethal Damage. I believe there is such a thing (as there are 'stun' settings). But I think you have to go over someone's Damage Threshold _________________ cyber-yukongil v2.5: Tiree the Finder of Neatness |

Since Cyber is a bonafide Martial Artist, he can choose to do either subdual damage in HTH, or lethal.
He's just letting me know, Kalen doesn't want to break the Herglic in half.
(the feeling, is not mutual. ) |

I was looking at the rules for Stunning (page 162), when you do a stun attack only half the damage is applied to Hit Points. But you utilize the full damage when going against the Damage Threshold. If the damage equals or exceeds the threshold, they drop down 2 condition tracks. And if you reduce the target to 0 hitpoints they drop 5 conditions.
This bad boy is going to be tough! _________________ cyber-yukongil v2.5: Tiree the Finder of Neatness |
