And so the auction for Psyche begins.

Quick general rules.

You may raise a bid by two points (or by one point, of course). Once over the course of the entire auction you can raise higher than by two points, but no more than by five points.

I will close this auction in 48 hours.

You cannot bid lower than the highest current bid (so since darniil started things off with five, no one can bid lower than five. The lowest possible next bid is six).

Less than 24 hours until Psyche ends and Strength begins. Lots of unranked folks still -- you all can still jump on in. A bid of 18 is still very reasonable for Psyche, especially for anyone looking to be any kind of master of powers.

Also, remember Cyber n Darnil, no sniping at the last minute. I'll keep the auction going till one of you relents or runs out of points.

A clarification on my earlier point, as there was some confusion on the matter. For the next three stat auctions, even the opening bid is to be considered a raise from the default Amber level or 0. As such, even your opening bid is subject to the "can only raise by 1 or 2, except once in the auction and even then cannot be more than 5" ruling. Yes this is different from how the Auctions are normally happened, and yes I feel the change is necessary considering the real life schedules of our players. There will be several times where I will handle things differently from how they are written in the book, and for the most part they will be for the benefit of you all (such as a much faster shape shifting and a far more effective sorcery) and at times they may seem like they're not to your benefit, such as how I'm choosing to handle this auction. As Darniil pointed out, some of the sample auctions had opening bids much higher than 5, much much higher. I didn't want things done that way, and so they won't be.

TLDR: Darniil still has his higher than 2, no more than 5 bid left; and for Strength, Endurance, and Warfare even if you open the auction with a bid higher than 2, it counts as your once only (per stat, not once only for the entire auction) raise.
