Note. This is NOT required. However, it is long, very long. And it comes with a bonus prize -- anyone who makes an honest and thorough attempt (answers the majority of the questions, with good, well thought out answers) will receive an additional 5 points to spend on their character.

Now, this quiz was originally developed for another Amber game (and I believe I might have borrowed some/many of the questions from other sources...it's been so long I honestly don't remember). I'm in no way trying to pass this off as my own work (though some of it may be, again, I honestly don't remember and the records for my last big Amber game are...intimidating...to sift through). Some of these questions are going to be removed, don't worry about answering them, they were very specific for the last game and don't apply to this one. Some of the questions you won't really be able to answer yet -- just do your best.

1) What is your favorite food? Drink? What food does your character hate?

2) Describe your First love affair.

3) Did you ever have a pet? What kind of pet? Where is it now, or what happened to it?

4) Describe what you'd want your personal rooms to be like in Castle Amber.

5) How would you describe your perfect spouse?

6) Do you use servants? which is most trusted/liked/indispensable?

7) What is your sacred item?

8: How do you handle being the butt of a practical joke? cite examples if possible.

9) Do you sleep well? what kind of dreams do you have?

10) What are your opinions on revenge...how do you usually extract it?

11) What emotions do you express in public?

12) What does your voice sound like? Any favorite expressions/curses?

13) Are you left handed or right handed? Do you use the same hand for all tasks, or alternate for different tasks?

14) What style of clothing do you wear/prefer? anything unusual....accessories, undergarments, etc, etc?

15) Describe what sports you play/watch/love/hate.

16) Describe what fine arts you perform/observe/love/hate.

17) What fields of study do you excel at/love/hate/stink at?

18: Do you read? If so, what do you read? Do you write anything?

19) What was your first sexual experience?

20) Describe your experience with Hi-Technology, and hi-tech shadows (note if inapplicable).

21) Describe your experience with Low-Technology, and low-tech shadows (note if inapplicable).

22) What type of shadow will you first want to explore? why?

23) What hobbies do you have? what hobbies would you like to acquire?

24) What type of people do you enjoy/hate the most?

25) What type of friends do you have? Describe your closest ones, and any other you want.

27) Describe your characters body language, mannerisms, and affectations.

41) What "lives" have you lead in shadow? (some of you have lived long enough for multiple lives...others, you're just on the one)

42) Have you ever met a shadow version of yourself? of any other Amberites? (for those who've read the series well enough to answer this, please feel free to answer. for those who haven't, make it up, or just say not applicable)

43) What do you do that annoys people?

44) How many/What kind of enemies do you have?

45) What is your relationship with your mother like?

46) What items/ideals/theories/whatever would you bring from shadow to Amber...and how do you think they will be received by the Amber populace?

47) How do you treat Family and Shadow-Folk?
