OK, since I know Jester is absolutely bursting at the seams, trapped at work, waiting to see how this plays out (and honestly, I don't see anyone really trying to stop him)...

For the rest of you, all you see is everything beneath you shrouded in darkness as the Warlock vanishes, working a spell of stealth upon himself.

Willis, momentarily shocked (we will rack up failed horrorfactor roll to my lack of posting) when the barricades came down and the undead Nimro came in, and comes back to reality once set down safely.

"Wut... in the Bronzehammer's walls is goin' on!"

He checks himself momentarily for injury... and having none returns to looking about.

"That damn Danzi... biggest fool I'ever seen runnin on his own like'n that. Wut he see out there anywhichway?" Willis makes his way to the window to take a look at what the Danzi saw.

Grabbing the windowsill and getting his eyes up to the window (Willis is short :p).

"Well.. I dun think we're gettin drinks after shift tonight fellas... "

He plops his feet firmly back on the ground. "If'n I were you, er you were me. No... if'n we were US!. Id start makin peace wit yer dear'n fluffy lords and lasses... 'cus we t'aint leavin here anytime soon..."

He re-joins with everyone grouped up in the secondfloor hall.
"The streets are pure chaos! But d'ere be some good news bout'n all this clammerin'." He pauses for a brief moment, and lets the sound of the Nimro bellow out again. "Were the ONLY place wit a zombie-giant. We might'n start sellin tickets!"

After a minute or so, a redressed Snow comes out of the room she'd headed for. "We lost the Warlock? Regardless, the Courtyard below is clear, as is the Bathhouse. Come with me if you want out of this hell hole." For those who follow Snow, you'll see that she's used lengths of rope normally used for bondage to fashion a quick escape route from the brothel.

despite his previous statement... Willis neither wanted to get left alone here OR go outside. But the latter of the two was WITH people so perhaps it was a better idea.

Begrudgingly, Willis also grabs a rope, and begins to rappel down.

The lot of you either climb or float down to the courtyard. It is, aside from the screams and sound of burning buildings that fill the air, comparatively peaceful. All around you are the various backdoor entrances to private residences owned by Madame Auntie. On the opposite end of the courtyard is the bathhouse, also owned by Madame Auntie, but at times is open to the public. At this hour however, those times have long since passed, and with any luck the bathhouses are zombie free. It does not appear that the zombies inside the brothel have discovered the exit from the kitchen into the courtyard.

For now you all are literally hiding in plain sight. It is a shorter distance to the border of the city than it is to head towards the heart of the city and make for the docks. Of course, travel by water is potentially safer than travel by land away from a Zombie attack. You just have to survive the city itself.

Willis, at this time, unsure of which way to go, and not wanting to get seperated... waits for El and the wench to pick a direction or at least hear their side before he tells them they are an idiot and crushes their minds to his way.

East would be the quickest way out of here. That involves passing through the bathhouse, or breaking into one of the southern/northern residences and then heading east once out of them.

As for fire, well, turn to the Mind Mage for that.

The Gladiator's sense of smell guided the lot of you safely through the bathhouse and the small number of zombies within.

Which brings you out of the safe confines of Madame Auntie's property, and out into the city proper.

CHAOS!

At this stage in the night, citizens are being slaughtered by the dozen. Some fall and stay down, others rise and join the ranks of zombies. Buildings all over are ablaze, and our resident Mind Mage only adds to this insanity.

As the lot of you move eastward, no wagons or horses have presented themselves to speed the process along. At this stage we've got a psychic, two spellcasters, a supernatural creature, and a wolfen. As such, all of you have the right stuff to feel that something wrong is in the air. That'd seem obvious, considering there's a zombie plague out of nowhere. However, all of you are feeling an essential wrongness in the air.

For now you've been able to move without incident, but as you're about half a mile from the edge of the city proper, that starts to change.

First, at this stage you seem to have outdistanced the zombie plague. Right now you're in the edge of a commercial district, filled with empty shops and abandoned stands. Within immediate sight there's not a soul in sight.

Second, though it's too far to matter yet, those of you with the proper nightvision notice a large flock of winged creatures coming from the East towards the city.

Third...it appears that something is starting to grow out of the ground. Are those tentacles?
