The Danzi's still hoping his new baseball bat is going to take care of things without the need for help. |

And then things got worse.
(Mav, give proper thanks to any and all Gods you worship...if you hadn't of one shotted the Zombie, his three action rolls for this round were natural 20, 19, and 20 respectively. You'd have been a rug. That last 20 is still staring at me. It's creeping me out. God, why can't I roll like this as a player!)
The Gladiator, his armor reduced to mere rags, barely outdraws his foe and severs his head in one heavy blow.
(ok...this is officially getting creepy. Picked up two D20s, rolled both...both came up 20). The Warlock's dire situation is neatly resolved by Snow, as she easily slays both of the Zombies upon him. Unfortunately, this left Snow and the Warlock exposed to the flying head, courtesy of our resident berserker. Snow took a squishy Zombie head right in the abdomen. You've stained and probably ruined her silk robes, Harv. Expect angry warrior woman vengeance. (and her dodge roll was a 1. This is hilarious).
At last, peace had been obtained in the lobby, while the Changeling vanished downstairs in search of clothing, and the Trickster Mage vanished downstairs in search of a missing Necromancer.
And then the energy barriers were battered in seconds as a...oh my...a zombified Nimro fought its way through them, snuffing out enough of the pyrokinetic flame in the process to allow for the masses to pour on in. Those of you with the proper Lore skills aren't even certain that should be possible, a zombie Giant. What in the Seven Hells is going on here?
And...well, there's the missing patron. And our missing Master Collector. Zombies, the pair of them.
Steve, Nova, meet me in 1.02, the rest of you (at least for this round) continue on in this thread. Al, inc pm. |

"..." Snow had been about to scream at Harv, when the arrival of the Nimro cut off her verbal assault. "No salary is worth this." Snow mutters to herself before heading for the stairs, though unlike the Trickster Mage and Changeling, she heads upstairs. |

GM Note.
I realize that I covered a couple of things in private messages, and never relayed the information to the group at large. I apologize for that, and if anyone needs to revise their actions from the last round or this round, please let me know and we'll do so for free. My bad here.
1: There's a doorway to the outside world in the Bar, but not in the Drug Den. So for those who want to head that way, there is a potential way out (assuming it isn't also under siege by Zombies)
2: This one's a total space on my part, just got lost in my transition from hand written floor plan notes to the forum...In the kitchen area is a doorway that leads to the courtyard in the middle of the block owned by Madame Auntie, which connects you all to the other houses on the block through back doors, or to the bath house. This is the biggie that might change folk's actions. I just now realized it never got put up for public viewing, and I am truly sorry about that oversight. Holler if you need to change up your strategy as a result. |

((Well, I don't particularly want to go running off by myself in the middle of an undead uprising.))
Haakon follows Snow back upstairs. If worse comes to worse he figures he should be able to escape out of a window. |

The Danzi does the same, pausing at the top to cast rot wood on the stairs.
Though, not a particular fan of Ogres, this one did attempt to come to my aid, and so should he follow, I will wait to cast until after he has ascended the stairs.

But this forces me to stop at the top of the stairs. I am looking for some indication of intelligence. Some possibility of reversal.
Failing that, I will not leave my friend to that fate. So my next actions will be contingent on what I can figure out here in the next few seconds. |

covered in the flaming splinters of the door, Harv stares up at the dead Nimro as a guttural growl boils up from his guts. Dimly aware of his retreating fellow employees though, Harv's atrophied sense of self-preservation performs a coup de grace sneak attack upon the Black rage within him and turns and bounds for the staircase leading to the working girls, along the way snatching up any fellow employees or patrons in his path. _________________ So's Your Face! |

OK, just to be clear -- Harv, you're heading downstairs, and the Warlock is heading upstairs, yes? Were you casting rot wood on both sets, or just the upstairs set?
Also, the Witch's succubus will not be long for the world unless you recall her, as a head's up. |

if downstairs is where the working girls ran, then yes. That is also where the changeling and Trickster went, correct? _________________ So's Your Face! |

With the Ogre heading opposite me, I will only rot the staircase that covers my own escape. Screw the cursed witch. |

OK, so Harv is trying for downstairs, the Warlock, Snow, Witch, and Gladiator are trying for upstairs, and Jester has already told me he has a plan for the Mind Mage which I'll use once he's posted it for certain.
I'll give a full round post once Jester gets his post up. Once I do, everyone who makes it upstairs will continue in this thread while Harv will move on to the same thread as Jaq and Darryn and just be playing a bit of catch up to them. |

After I rot the stairs:
Gathering myself back from what appeared to me a moment of doubt, I send my unseen servent to fetch the dwarf and the wolfen. Though it greatly pains me to do so, the dog did fight with honor.
The witch is not even an after thought. ((Sorry Mark. ))
I'll wait for the update before I decide what to do after that. |

The Gladiator was finished, for certain, as a half dozen Zombies were all within feet of him, their arms ready to tear him to shreds, when a very solid but otherwise transparent bit of air reached out and pulled him from the carnage, holding the bulky Wolfen in just it's right arm. The Dwarven Mind Mage was spared by a snag from the Elemental's left arm.
Snow, and the Witch both made it up the stairs with time to spare, as did the two brought by the minor Air Elemental, though the succubus was only halfway up the stairs when it became necessary for the Warlock to cast his spell. Even with the spell, odds are the stairs would have held just fine as the zombies ascended it, if the Giant hadn't of gotten there first. The sheer weight of the Zombie crushed through the stairs, causing him to fall hard, serving to also obscure the lower entranceway, for a time. Harv, like the succubus, just barely beat the zombified Nimro to the stairs, and safely made it down into the basements.
Harv, move to thread 1.02, please. The rest of you remain here.

Without even pausing to acknowledge the others, Snow sheathes her blade and adjusts the belt the sheath was attached to, tying it so that it looped over her neck and under her left shoulder blade. She also stripped off her top, a damn shame Darryn missed that. Quickly she heads for one of rooms facing the courtyard, and slams the door shut hard behind her. |

The Danzi signals his servant to drop the cargo, and then to return to invisible until needed.
He then looks back down on the area the stairs once occupied trying to locate the Master Collector. His face, usually an emotionless mask, shows the signs of considerable emotional strain.
He then turns and walks to the window at the end of the hallway. Looking out, what does the street below look like? |

Those that may be watching see the rather unnerving sight of the normally calm and collected Danzi looking out of the window with open horror in his eyes.
He takes a staggered step back, and then rushes back towards the destroyed stairway.
The first step will be locating the Master Collector. Then I will activate my Tatoo. Then Chameleon. Then cast Darkness on the brothel commen room. Using my superior Nightvision (which I think is effective up to 200 feet in the Darkness area of effect), I cast Walk the Wind. I signal the Air Elemental to clear me a path, noting that if I should die, he is to carry my and the Collectors corpes out of the reach of the Zombies before returning to his own plane, and then I'm in the air heading to attack the Collector from above and behind.
Called shot, on his brain stem.
His death is my main focus. If immediately successful, I will call the elemental to attempt to remove me from the melee. If not, I will fight to end the Zombie Collector's unlife, and kill myself before allowing them to take me. |
