The wolf seems to be sizing you up for a few seconds, before it begins to speak in magically perfected dragonese. "So you're what the Rift spat out, today?"

As you both move through the pyramid, you get a chance to observe the occupants. The slave stock seems to consist entirely of dark skinned humans, with hardly a D-Bee to be seen. As far as Splugorth minions, Overlords and Powerlords are the order of the day. You've so far not seen a drop of Kittani, either their technology or their actual race. This entire set-up is far more reliant on magic. In fact, as you've got up a number of levels, you come to something that definitely makes you think Elementals or Stone Mages. The pyramid is actually two separate chunks of design, the upper half floating a hundred feet above the lower half. There are discs of magical energy that serve as lifts, rising and lowering people from half to half.

Once you've reached open air, you get a chance to stop and look out on the city surrounding the pyramid. There are three ley lines that intersect into a primary nexus, which this pyramid is built on. However, there are six smaller pyramids built at the borders of the city, serving as check points atop the ley lines themselves.

As you've been walking, Zavista has been prodding you for info about where you come from.
