It was as easy as walking through a doorway. Moment earlier it had been a sweltering summer afternoon in a Virginia swamp, and now you look out upon the world and feel a comfortable chill. It is night, and you stand at the nexus of four ley lines, all glowing with the same red energy as on your Earth. You also seem to be inside a large complex. A pyramid, most likely, judging by the architecture. Not Splugorthian by design however. Traces of Atlantean, however...the humans, that is. Other than the hum of the Ley Lines, all around you is silent. It appears your arrival has not triggered any defenses.

"Huh." He starts to look at the pyramid more carefully, looking for deviations from the norm that he can deduce (possessing, as he does, a fair amount of theoretical magical knowledge). "How about personal scale weapons... guns, swords, especially pointy sticks, anything?"

"There's enough tiny heat signatures around bigger heat signatures to give the impression that folks here are well armed. Or they've all got very still familiars."
Nothing in the architecture is betraying the clan of design, which is odd. Those Atlanteans can't help but remind you every ten minutes just which clan they are from. You've seen toilet paper with the clan mark embedded into each sheet.
Though these inner stones seem too large to have been set by human hands, now that you really think about it. Perhaps it is the work of slave Jotan, Cyclops, or even Elementals. |

Secret passages (via GPR and sonar). Precariously balanced, oddly spherical boulders, incoming psychopaths with swords or other pointy/punchy/blasty things.

There are a pair of incoming bodies, and odds are they are both armed. A patrol of some kind, though there's no visual yet on them. Eddie just triggered a pair of short warning beep to alert you. |
