I think I've talked to everyone about this, but in case I haven't I wanted to do so now.

I'm going to use Psyche as the example.

Valorian - 51 points (1st)
Cyber-yukongil - 50 points (2nd)
Darniil - 18 points (3rd)
Alejandro - 10 points (4th)
Warlawk - 8 points (5th)
Marrowdrinker - 6 points (6th)
Kathana, Yelenia, and Muirenn - 0 points, unranked.

Now, let's say that Muireen wanted a rank in psyche. She wants a decent Psyche, but doesn't want to be the best. She can choose to spend 18 points in a secret bid, which would make her a little worse than Darniil, but otherwise would make her better in matters of the mind than everyone else, from Alejandro on down.

However, let's continue this assumption and say that Warlawk had a similar thought and choose to spend 10 points to also be at "18 points". That would make him a little worse than Darniil, and make him of equal strength to Muirenn, though neither of them would know that until a confrontation occurred between them.

This applies for all four stats, though Endurance is going to be a pricey one for the folks who are only at Amber level in it. If you want to make a secret bid, just send me a PM of what you want to bid, so I can keep it in the secret spreadsheet, instead of the public spreadsheet.
