It was as easy as walking through a doorway. Moment earlier it had been a sweltering summer afternoon in a Virginia swamp, and now you look out upon the world and feel a slight chill. It is night, and off in the distance the eerie glow of red peppers the horizon. You stand at the nexus of two ley lines, all glowing with the same red energy as on your Earth. The land around you is sandy, as you are on a long expanse of beach, looking out over an ocean. The gentle crashing of the waves drowns out any other noises, save the cries of birds.
Welcome to Earth Two. |

What are my initial impressions of the worlds energy? Has my power increased? Decreased? Do I feel about the same? _________________ Alright, so I fucked her. What of it? -- Dr. Venture |

((ah damnit, I must've gotten sidetracked at work and never actually submit my response to you, sorry))
Your power has neither increased nor decreased, but you do not exactly feel the same. The new world's energy flows into your body easily enough, but once inside you, it feels tense. Almost as if the blue energy you'd gathered before the journey was refusing to merge with the red energy of Earth Two. You feel certain you can use either kind to weave your spells, however. |

((I only posted that question to see if I made you pop from repeating it five or six times. )) _________________ Alright, so I fucked her. What of it? -- Dr. Venture |

((Hah, nah. I've had to recycle a couple of lines like, six times, in the Amber threads. It doesn't much phase me)). |

Jim stops for a moment to take in the scenery around him. Not at all being impressed he sets immediately apon his plan.
((First things first, what's Delta's primary skill set? Warrior, assassin, other?))
"Let's see if we can find a suitible community for our needs."
((Those needs being to dominate and subjugate the population into a workable slave force for the construction of a makeshift lab and operational HQ. Makeshift in that we don't want to call too much attention, and of course be ready to upgrade to a better community (or flee should things get too hot) should the opportunity arise.))
Jim and Delta will scout the area for such a community by first entering small towns and villages and posing as a traveling merchant and bodygaurd (or alchemist should the local population seem interested in magics).
So scouting we a go. _________________ Alright, so I fucked her. What of it? -- Dr. Venture |

((Let's go with Warrior design))
After half a day, assuming you've hugged the shoreline, you're surprised at what you haven't found. Not finding a city in one day isn't surprising, but so far you've seen no evidence of life at all, aside from the insects and the fish and birds. Of course, the waves would obliterate any tracks, but it is still an odd sensation to have found nothing, given how plentiful the sea life seems to be. |
