Andrew looks over at Fext with an obviously annoyed look on his face
"At least the Coalition is consistent across dimensions for being stupidly anal. Well, look at it this way, it's a lot easier to get a random guess right the more peaceful a nation is. Means a higher population and a larger pool of codes to pick from."
He turns to face the beacon and takes a stab in the dark, typing in (if the tower has a keyboard, if not he'll speak the code line) "A 1 7 2 9 4 1 6 3 8 5"

"Look, I'm having a really bad day and maybe I forgot a number. Is it just numeric or am I forgetting a letter? What is the format of the code?" |

All the computer says is, "Please enter your identification code."
However, if you go more than a minute without trying again, the lights will shift to red. |

Andrew looks over the panel and then cracks his knuckles as he begins to try his hand at hacking into the system, running known commands from past Coalition experiences first to at least buy him some more non-warning time
