"Negatory, Bones. You'll be covering the Doc. The Beta gives me options you don't have..."

Though Genius may not like what I have in mind...

Tying in both his Alpha & Genius' Beta's targeting computer together, Shepard tries to triangulate a firing solution, as he kicks in the Beta's flight thrusters to full, waits till he hears tone, fires off a massive volley (whatever I think has a good chance of hitting the enemy) in FoF mode, flips off the stealth mode, pulling the stick hard up, and engaging the Beta's powerful Rocket Thrusters!

Even as he's crushed into his seat, Shepard mutters, "Well, guess I'm about to become the first thing to go transatmospheric on this primitive mudball..."

"You'd think he didn't have a family to go back to..." Bones mutters to himself, off comm. Respect? Disdain? Both? Yeah, both.

But then, when he notices exactly what Shepard is doing, "Shepard, get back down here. Use the protoculture coming off the Integrity to keep them from getting a proper lock on you!"

"Doc, we can't wait for him, gotta make our move now. Let's hope they made it to those Engines." Bones hold formation behind Doc, swapping to Guardian mode to hold position with the AJAC's helicopter mode. "You've got balls Shepard, but I'm the better pilot. Don't make me have to bail you out too." Bones mutters to himself again, the words coming out almost like a prayer.

OK, you've got access to roughly 86 short range missiles (assuming maximum hard points). How many of them would you like to let off here, and how many targets are you shooting for? All 20 I assume?

(I've let off a spread earlier, but yeah, fire off the remaining 80 SRM's to saturate my targets. With the missiles being in FoF mode, there shouldn't (theoretically) be too much collateral damage to the Integrity, even if they're close by.)

Bones moved into position to begin tearing through the Engine Rooms of the Integrity to hopefully find some of the team inside when his sensors flared and he got a wild look in his eye. "Shepard, listen to me!"

"Dammit...", mutters Shepard, as he flips the Stealth system back to full.

He cuts the throttle as well, easing up on the acceleration that was crushing him into his seat.

"Guess I won't be going orbital today, after all..."

Shepard fires his vernier thrusters, rotating the Legios 180 degrees without slowing down his upward momentum significantly.

Shepard closes his eyes for a brief moment, and whispers quickly & quietly, "God, please let me see my wives and children..."

With that, his eyes flare open, as he punches the Legios into a powerful dive, racing against the clock to reach the Integrity.

As he plummets, he senses rather than see's, the first of the enemy's annhilation disks streak toward him. He puts the large craft through the best aeronautics he can remember, hoping that the combined shields can weather the blows that his skill cannot avoid...

"What the Hell?" Bones shouts to himself as a new radar contact registers on his system -- another Valkyrie!

And then the Integrity begins to glow, and everything around the ship explodes into a burst of stars.
