The red "eye" isn't so noticeable in the B&W version...but in color, yeah, it looks like a whale. |

I think I'm liking the Excalibur's, I just need to decide; hands or flamethrowers. I'm leaning more towards the REF version right now. |

While I rather hate the RDF Gladiator, I am fond of the REF version m'self. But the Excalibur is also rocking. |

The REF Gladiator was much cooler due to its giant shoulder cannons.
Shame its MDC output was so pathetic in the original books. |

Veritech pilot, Recon MOS. I think I'll be going Al's route and taking a Valkyrie as my mecha of choice. With a hovertank as my ground veritech. |

OK, my buddy is going to pass on the game, so I'm going to contact a couple of other Pboard folks, see if they're interested in spot #7. If not, we'll just go ahead with a party of six. |

After thinking things over, I've opted to not even bother picking up a seventh member. I like the dynamic you six bring. I'll still be including my npc char, unless there's any major complaints, because I think the group does need a pure pilot. |

Just for reference, Lieutenant Dickhead has three MOS; Communications, Combat Engineer (I made this secondary, since DS is already a CE), with a Jack of All Trades in Flight Crew Engineer (he's hella smart, and his father was a pilot, so he picked up a lot of it in his spare time). |

We had a Combat Engineer, already, and a Comm officer is useful in things like this. |

I agree entirely, I'm just happy.
Oh, as a heads up, Dan is swamped for work right now, so I'm going to run the Combat Engineer as an NPC until he's ready to step in. |

I think 2nd Lt. John Smith will be a Combat Engineer (primary) and Flight Crew Engineer (swap OCC related for a 2nd MOS).
The two blend together well enough (and it let's me pilot a mecha, dangnabbit!) |

Oh, let me send you the stats, btw, Nova. You'll like them -- I actually rolled DS a 30. |

Oh you all got to assign your stats (except the Zents, who didn't get generic 3D6). It was part of the trade for everyone letting me roll their stats. I roll, they assign. |
